For this series of characters, I drew several of my friends as if they were in a fantasy world. I asked each of them what race they thought they would be (human, dwarf, elf, orc, etc.) and what job they’d have. The purpose of this was to get myself to draw things I don’t typically enjoy. By eliminating choices and giving a strict direction for me to follow, my friends acted as art directors. The only limitation I gave them was the generic fantasy genre, so that the designs would stay somewhat consistent.

Each design and pose is based off of the answers I received, as well as the personality of the friend I was drawing. This project is currently ongoing, with several more character designs on the way.
